And… launch 🚀

Small business owners: do you remember that moment at the beginning? When you’ve done all the work, secured your inventory, set up your space, done all the paperwork, hired the people, set the date and then… it’s go time. The real or proverbial ribbon cutting is happening, the doors are unlocked, the “OPEN” sign is visible, and you’re officially IN BUSINESS. What did you feel?

Open sign, business launch

Deciding to launch a business is a big deal. I don’t quite remember the day my parents launched their first small business - an art gallery, From the Heart, followed by a full shopping village and eventually a full-service restaurant - but I remember the impact it had on all of our lives. There was a regular cycle of stress, joy, excitement, anticipation, fear, disappointment, and celebration - not to mention the countless connections that were formed with customers, local artists, and networks of other local business owners.

But all along, there was this underlying pride in the idea that they created something, and they got to build and shape it into a future they envisioned:

  • Helping local artists have a livelihood by representing and selling their amazing innovation manifested in arts and crafts

  • Helping customers connect to the local arts scene and develop their appreciation for beauty and creativity while bringing the works of art into their homes to create spaces of comfort and joy

  • Seeing how they could build a life for themselves and their family through following a dream that was put on their hearts

I feel many of those things now as I prepare to push “Publish” on this website. I’ve worked hard for 14 years to build my knowledge and skills in brand and marketing - helping to deepen the value, increase brand awareness, and generate leads, sales, and conversions for nonprofits, associations, and corporations from all over the world with different backgrounds and varying industries.

And now, I’ve built my own brand, Rooted, and I’m ready to use my expertise in marketing and my passion for small businesses to help owner-operators deepen their brand value and build out a marketing strategy that helps them, and their current and prospective customers, know deeply who they are, why they exist, and then create meaningful engagement experiences so customers keep coming back over and over.

My pricing packages are developed, my website is ready, my LLC is purchased, my onboarding process is established, and now - I’m ready for YOU. How do you want to grow your business? Where is your brand confusing for your target audiences? What can your current customers not get enough of? I am so excited to partner with small businesses in a variety of fields to help you establish a brand and marketing strategy that helps you know you not only created something, but that you reached and exceeded goals, and can have even more of an impact than you ever dreamt possible.
